It’s been a little brrrr here in Pennsylvania for this California girl! I’ve been cozying up here at the farm and at QVC headquarters, promoting my TSV. Despite the fact that I miss the warm weather back in L.A., there is something nice about getting warm next to a fire with goodies like fuzzy blankets and hot mugs of tea. It’s official! Earth Day is only one week away! As one of my favorite holidays, Earth day holds a special place in my heart because it really inspires people to do better for our planet and its creatures every year. I always say that you use your wallet to vote for what you believe in—which is why choosing eco-friendly products is so important. Like most (if not all) kids, Halloween was always major joy for me. I loved the dress-up part, I loved recognizing the neighbor kids in their costumes and masks, and of course I loved the candy. Now that I'm a big kid with two little kids, I like Halloween even more. Rumi Joon's already revved up about her costume, and I'm revved up about Indi Joon's, since she's still young enough to let me put it together for her. I found some cool stuff for Indi Joon and for her mama on Etsy. Buying from real people, crafty people, is as good as chocolate. Well, almost.

My mom has a great eye for design. In fact, she picked out most of the cool décor at the JMC offices! She even gave us some amazing prayer flags that she made from vintage fabrics she’s collected throughout the years from estate sales and hole-in-the-wall fabric stores.
