Anywhere near the ocean. There's something so calming and peaceful about the waves breaking on the shore.

Mu favorite place to vacation is Lake Geneva Wisconsin. It's got a hometown feel and beautiful sights... The best part, reminds me of my mom who lost her battle to cancer 5 yrs ago. It brings me back to simpler times and sweet memories.

Naples, FL. I had both of my kids there and it holds so many memories of when they were babies, they are all grown now so I do miss those times.

It was up to 105 here last summer for several weeks at a time. This is not very exotic but my husband and I would go to late nights at waffle house. It was freezing in there. It felt wonderful. We live in a mountain area so the view was good, the food was good and it had a special charm.

My favorite is Rhodes, Greece! I went there on my honeymoon and it was by far the best trip I have been on to date. The weather was great, food was awesome and the people are so friendly!! Nothing like re-charging your batteries and coming back with a relaxing glow! Post sunscreen of course :)!

Any place with warm sand, swaying palms, turquoise water is heaven to me, but if I had to choose my ideal getaway is Maui. Taking a drive to Hana with my hubby, finding a secluded beach to hike to. Swimming and frolicing in the water, stopping for a fresh smoothie, and then later in the night putting on a sundress, with the scent of my sunscreen still on my skin having a nice dinner, glass of wine under the moonlight, listening to the ocean waves.

My favorite destination is Washington DC. It's where my parents live and I love visiting them, because I miss them so very much :)

Though I love the way a tropical escape makes my skin look and feel, I have to choose Toronto. The diversity, culture and positive urban vibe always makes me return for a visit year after year.

My favorite destination is Sedona, AZ. It IS the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. The landscape, the red rocks, are mind blowing & hypnotizing! Magnificent red rock monuments that are 100% formed out of our planet! The color of this place is POW! Explosive! It is so captivating. Ever look at something so beautiful, you can’t explain it with words, but you FEEL it? Well that’s what Sedona does for me. It’s magical! :)

My favourite place to be is the outer Hebrides of Scotland. It is the most rugged and natural place I've ever been. Very few trees, with heather everywhere and on Lewis there is the Callanish standing stones. They were placed there almost 3000 years ago and stand in the shape of a giant Celtic cross in arial view. One of the most magical places I've ever been.

When I was little I had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in a seaside village in Cornwall - I would love to go back there and spend every day picnicking on the beach:)

North Shore - Oahu, Hawai'i

The beaches along Oahu's North Shore is absolute bliss. Waimea, Sunset, Pipeline and Turtle Bay amoung other small and private beaches have different grains of sand, amazing clear deep blue to aqua color ocean water and most importantly: a true phenomena of total relaxation. On the Island - the sun kisses your skin and the warm breeze is Zen. Everytime I think about the Island my heart is warmed and that "feeling"? Two words abovementioned: absolute bliss.

Hawaii. We went there for our wedding/honeymoon because it's in-between Japan and the US and relative easy for both our families/friends to get to. It couldn't have been more beautiful and special. I can't wait to go back -- this time with our daughter!

Lake Gaston, NC. I went there once with a group of friends who had a lake house there. It was amazing! I would die to live there or even just visit it again. It was beautiful. So much fun and so peaceful.

Although I have never been given the opportunity to travel out of the country, out of the places I have been blessed to see so far...I would have to choose this beautiful hiking trail called Chantry Flats. It is a strenuous 2 hour hike, but once you reach the top...it is breathtaking. A waterfall is at the peak and once your up there, nothing matters but the present and the beauty of mother nature. :)

My favorite destination is anywhere I can spend time with the people I love! But if I had to pick an actual place, my dream destination would be Paris, the city of love! It is so beautiful with so much to learn about and explore and I hope to be blessed enough to go there one day!

My favorite destination is the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. I enjoy watching the animals come out of the forest and interact with people. Some of the animals will even eat food right out of your hand! The overall atmosphere in the area is very peaceful and relaxing, giving me time to simply enjoy the moment.

The Grand Canyon and/or the mountains. I love the peace and serenity of the mountains. I live in Kansas City, Missouri and everything is so flat! I miss the hills, valleys, twists, and curves. I miss seeing all the green trees and blue skies.
