My favourite birthday ever was the year when my Mom and I were on vacation in Europe - we spent my 23rd birthday having a picnic on the lake at Versailles... We're planning to celebrate her 60th there together in a few years!

My favorite birthday was when I turned 22 because the following month I was going to marry the man of my dreams! That birthday lasted 26 years. We were very happy, had two beautiful little girls and our world revolved around them. The following birthday, he didn't come home that night. Later I found out he was cheating on me. That was the worse birthday ever!

My favorite birthday was my 27th. When asked what I wanted to do for my birthday, I could think of nothing better than spending the day with my nieces and nephews. Their parents were going through a messy divorce and, unfortunately, the kids were having a hard time dealing with all the chaos. So I packed up five beautiful kids and took them to Splash Village Hotel and Indoor Water Park. We played and laughed for two days. Before going home, we walked across the parking lot to Bronners Christmas store, which happens to be the largest Christmas store in the world! We shopped til we dropped! The kids had so much fun. My heart was swollen with gratitude, not only spending time with those amazing kids, but seeing them smile and laugh. For a couple days they got to forget about their worries and just have fun. They still talk about it, eight years later. :-)

One of my favorites birthdays was about 2 years ago and I had an Alice in Wonderland themed birthday at my home. Everyone who came was dressed up as a character from the story. And I mean the full 9 yards. I had the white queen, red queen, flowers, caterpillar, mad hatter, white rabbit, white knight, the twiddles.... even my grandmother dressed up. We had tons of food and laughter All evening long. It was amazing having my friends and family all together. My cousin even came up from Chicago. I felt so loved!

I'm very lucky to be a twin so every birthday is very special :) The one that sticks out the most is my 12th birthday. We were having a quaint family celebration and my dad had made us each a delicious chocolate cake. The candles were lit and we were waiting for him to get back with plates and a camera. Feeling restless, my sister decided to light her napkin on fire and blow it out, successfully. I had to try it!! I picked up my napkin, lit it on fire, and attempted to blow it out. Nothing happened. As I was about to burn my hand I tossed the napkin on the carpet which also caught fire, just as my dad walked back in! He threw everything to the side & put the fire out. This was the first time he would tell us to, "Practice safety". Although we are grown, we are still reminded of this on a weekly basis, and definitely on our birthday :)

My favorite birthday ever was when I turned 24. A few days before my birthday, my boyfriend (we met online; both working abroad back then) sent me a package and said not to open it until my birthday. On that day, when I opened it in front of my friends, there were a couple of bakings stuffs, a birthday card, an ipod, and at the bottom, there was a little box in a bubble wrap. My friends were all yelling and jumping to there excitement and there it was..the ring. So I called him on skype and told him about the ring, He got down on one knee and proposed to me on cam with my friends watching him too...It was the sweetest gift ever for me. We're now on our 2nd year wedding anniversary this coming december.

my favorite birthday was when i had moved to a different state 8 or 9 years ago. i had no family and only 1 friend, my then boyfriend who is now my husband.. i was turning 23 and lived in a tiny 400 sq ft apt. my boyfriend stayed up all night to decorate the apt while i was asleep. when i woke up he had turned my living room to a beautiful birthday surprise. he filled it with balloons, hanging decorations and made a grid on the ceiling made of pink twirled streamers. he also had the much needed coffee and muffin waiting for me when i woke up..

My best birthday ever was when I turned 40. I was feeling kind of low for hitting that milestone (feeling like I was now old), My son and my mom surprised me by taking me to New York City overnight. We went to see the Phantom of the Opera, had dinner at Carmine's and then the following day we walked the city and did some sightseeing and then had lunch at Sardi's and met some incredibly interesting people from the Broadway district. The best part was that my son planned the whole event and he was only 15 at the time. So blessed to have such incredible family in my life. Happy 5th Birthday JMC.

I have a feeling my favorite birthday is on it's way in 2013. I'm always so focused on other people's birthdays, but for my upcoming 30th, I'm embracing every moment!

Every year has been a favorite of mine! My birthday is May 8th and my Mom's is May 11th-not only do we celebrate ours together but Mother's Day as well! She is my best friend and couldn't imagine celebrating it without her. She has told me that her best birthday gift ever was taking me home after I was born on her birthday! Can't get much better than that!!! Celebrating with her every year makes it very special!!!

My favorite birthday ever was when my son Rave was 6 and my daughter Spice was 9. They tried to make that birthday special for me like I always had done for them. I got cereal in bed that morning and they tried straitening up the house, but the best part was my gifts.
My daughter had wrapped up her favorite doll and told me I could have her. It was so sweet, because she loved that doll so much and it was always at her side. My son had wrapped up a box and when I opened it there was nothing in it. So I didn't know what to think until he said "I hope you like it I tried real hard" I asked him what it was and his response was "it's a box of love!"
My daughter was so curious she grabbed the box to see what love looked like. "Rave... it has a hole in it!"
My son took the box from her and made this sad face with a oh no whining tone. "All my love for you was put in that box for you mom."
He was so sad and tears were in his eyes. "Rave do you still love me?" I asked him as he nodded his head yes. "Then see you had so much love for me it may have fell out of the box but it went right back into your heart."
He smiled so big.
I could never forget that birthday, I cherish my gifts I go,t and my daughter got her doll back too. I told her that her doll liked me a lot; but still wasn't ready to leave her yet. Although she did spend the whole day in my lap and arms, that night her doll slept peacefully in Spice's bed from then on.

Last years birthday was dinner at the Melting Pot, Twin Rivers Casino, and a night alone at the Biltmore in Providence, Ri. The year before was Brad Paisley and Foxwoods Casino. My husband always manages to surprise me with a night to ourselves no matter what the circumstances are and I thank him for that. Although I do suspect it's always geared a bit towards his liking:-)

My favorite birthday was my 23 birthday. I was expecting my baby boy in about a week and was so excited! He came 8 days after my birthday.

2010 ... after working for the same company for 22 years my job went to Mexico and I found myself unemployed in July of 2008 at the age of 52. I had been an administrative assistant since I started to work at the age of 18 ... imagine going back to college NOW ... but I did it. And I graduated with the Surgical Technology Class of 2010, with honors, and my fellow students (all of whom I could have birthed) voted me Best All Around Student. :) I graduated August 2010 and started a new job, a new career Sept 13, 2010 ... I turned 54 on Sept. 18th of that same week, that year!

That is one I will never forget.

I will turn 56 on Tuesday and am still on my "new" job. :)

AIn't God good?? And oh my, what a sense of humor He does have.

My most memorable birthday was a birthday while in college. The night before a handsome guy asked if he could take me out for a celebratory birthday dinner (this young man later ended up being my husband and this was our classy first date!) and gave me a very sweet birthday card. The following day (my actual birthday) my parents were supposed to come three hours to visit me and bring me cake and take me shopping. Unfortunately they got stuck in an awful blizzard and had to turn around (they ate the cake on the way home). So I sat alone studying until a friend asked if I wanted to watch the Superbowl in her room and order some pizza. I agreed and found that it was actually a surprise party for my birthday that they put together because my other birthday plans fell through. There were a lot of great moments and memories in that weekend. It all made me feel very loved and special.

On this 5th birthday I hope JMC also feels very loved and special. You help so many of us achieve effortless, radiant, young, beautiful, but most importantly HEALTHY skin. Thank you for your commitment to us, your customers. We love you and cannot wait to see what the future holds for JMC:)

My favorite birthday would have to be my 33rd. My daughter was due Nov 2, 2001. Totally perfect, normal pregnancy. And this was just weeks after the Sep 11 attacks.
Out of the blue, my water broke and my daughter apparently decided that the world needed a lot of cheering up, because she decided to be an early birthday present to me.
She was born on October the 2nd, 2001. Exactly one month before she was due, and exactly one day before my 33rd birthday!!!
BEST BIRTHDAY EVER:)

Now I am 43 and my best birthday was my 40 th one... I learned that I was pregnant that same day... I was so happy... I never thought I could have another child at this point of my life.... I had a girl 15 years ago who is suffering from autism and muscular dystrophy and I felt so guilty... Now I have a wonderful little boy and my big girl is never going to be alone anymore...

My 25th Birthday was my favourite I had celebrated it with my close girlfriends, my daughter Nai'a and Julie (I like to call her my other mom). It was magical we had the YUMMIEST meals and to top that off with a spectacular ocean sunset view. I am a nature person and having the ocean by my side was just breathtaking by the end of the night we all had mud chocolate cake with strawberries mmmm....I girl can't complain about that!!!! Then a toast to my late mom on how much we all miss her so much Xx :) Peace, Love and Happiness

My favourite birthday was when I flew to L.A. with my sister to see my favourite band Silverchair play (a few days after my 21st bday). It was the best! They hadn't played in North America for five years and I finally got to see them, something which was on my bucket list. Now getting backstage to meet Daniel Johns would have been something. I should have made a sign. Happy birthday Josie Maran Cosmetics! You're Five! Don't have any temper tantrums!
