NEW YEAR, NEW YOU Giveaway

2012 is on the horizon and here we're thinking about what the year will bring. How will we change? How will we improve? What are the resolutions we'll stick to and what will always stay the same? When I think about balance and how to survive a growing company with grace, I think about finding what keeps me centered and peaceful. For me, it's family and friends that do this. Their love, warmth and support through my endeavors gives me the grounded roots not only be true to myself, but to also change and improve at the same time.

What about you? What keeps you "you" and what about you are you ready to make better? Tell us in the comments section and include your email address and we'll select one winner to receive a bottle of our 100% Argan Oil. The winner will be announced on Facebook on January 3, 2012.

(This offer is open to U.S. and Canadian Residents only).

The things that keep me grounded are definitely my loved ones, especially my boyfriend, but also a clear goal of what I want to do in life and to constantly be focused on what I want to achieve in the future. I am very fortunate to have a steady job that helps me achieve that and keeps me busy and on top of things. Thanks for this giveaway! Hope you have a wonderful new year =)

Every experience I invest energy into, whether it be career, personal relationships, self-development, I always have to remember why I'm doing what I'm doing, and that's to create an awesome life! For me, everything I do needs to fall under this banner. What I participate in, what I create needs to align with the idea that it feels good to me, it feels right. What I am definitely ready to make better is my relationship with myself. This means loving and accepting myself just as I am, embracing all aspects of who I am today, in this moment, and who I am becoming, and showing the world the real me, fearlessly!

My son was diagnosed with Autism 2 years ago and after the initial gut wrenching reaction, I refused to allow him to ever be treated like a victim. I threw myself into treating him through biomedical means, and the leaps and bounds he's made make me leap for joy. The blessings of my family and friends never cease to amaze me, but my son is what continues to ground me in my life and he is the light of my world. Love radiates from his and he brings joy to anyone and everyone with whom he crosses paths.

What keeps me grounded is knowing just how short life is and how I want to live and enjoy every moment of it while I'm here with my kids and hubby. With all the death around me I learned very early in life that family and love are all that really matters in life and not material things and to make every day count so that's what I try to do daily. Also, if you truly believe you can accomplish something then it will happen. It's never to late! At the age of 50 I went back to college to prove to myself that I could do it and now I'm working in a surgery center helping more people than I ever thought possible and am very happy doing it!

Allowing time for myself to be truly alone without distraction is the best for me. I spend so much time trying to please people around me that I can start to forget about what I need. So sitting down and being able to refocus my goals and what my purpose is helps me stay sane.

Focusing on the “bigger picture” of my life helps me to stay centered. It’s easy sometimes to get distracted by the everyday routine, or caught up with what I perceive to be as an irritant. But when I step back, and zoom out of the small details I’m focusing on, I ask myself this very important question: What do I want my contribution to this planet to be? Then I think of my list: Love, Kindness, & Empowerment. This new year, starting NOW, I will give more to my beautiful planet and the beautiful people in it.

My faith that each day is a new day to start fresh keeps me hopeful! I believe in beauty, and try to see it in every encounter life throws my way. The past is over, and we don't have to dwell there - but take the worthy lessons and move forward. My family, friends, and profession make me realize how many blessings I have to count! Probably the most important part of me that I want to improve on is loving others deeply from my heart... first...this year!

My husband and 5 month old yellow lab puppy keep my grounded, centered, and very, very busy. What i need to make better about myself is money management. I need to realize that my puppy doesn't need 345 puppy toys, 3 is enough. And I splurge on myself way too much and I need to improve on that - which means I have to use my Argan Oil more sparingly!! Otherwise I have a pretty happy and healthy life.

I resolve to remain objective, release all negative traits and grasp on to all that is good & positive. I look forward to improving what I have learned from the days of yore.

Without a calendar I would be lost. A calendar is a family's best tool to stay organized.

What keeps me grounded and makes me want to be a better person is my husband of almost 12 years, and my 10year old little girl! Also can't forget my rescued kitty and our 3 rescued dogs:) We recently moved into our 'own home' after maybe 6plus moves in the past 4-1/2yrs since losing everything in a fire, I feel with all my heart that 2012 is going to be a great year for us:)

I always make a point to remember my roots and evaluate my value at times. I work hard to be a strong mother and wife, as well as a provider overall. The thing I need to work on is not letting others behavior have such an affect on me. I am beautiful, strong and wise and I make a point to enjoy every minute that I have with the ones I love.

This new year I strive to focus on the things in life that really matter. Acknowledging the responsibility we have to our children to pass on compassion and respect of others. Being available to them more whether to read them a book or listen about their day. Time is of the essence. Obtain that perfect balance between work and leisure. And to always be thankful for both.

Switching things up helps me keep me. So often we get caught up in a monotonous routine. Things like taking a new route to work, listening new music, or having mahi mahi instead of chicken helps me to rejuvenate, realize that there are different opportunities in life, and realize what's important. I don't have to keep on doing the same thing over again. To keep fresh ideas and thoughts flowing, I want to keep try more new things and explore new ventures. In the new year, I won't scared of what the future holds.

My daughter keeps me grounded and true to myself. Her love reminds me what is truly important in life. Inspired by this, I would like to commit to a healthier lifestyle, not only to help myself, but also to be able to give back to others.

I always try to remember that all of my experiences (good and bad) are a part of who I am. However, these experiences themselves do not define me -- my reactions to them do. Most notably, when my dad passed away after being extremely ill over a long period of time, I tried to take this terrible experience and make something good come out of it. Growing up, my family celebrated Christmas and Hanukkah every year as I was raised Jewish, but my dad was Catholic. After my dad passed away, my mom and I decided to donate our large (artificial) Christmas tree along with lights, balls, ornaments and even large mechanical figurines to a nursing home near the hospital where my dad spent so many nights. (The hospital itself was not accepting this type of donation at the time.) I figured this was a way to pay it forward for all of the care and kindness my dad received while he was in the hospital. We even donated a case of jigsaw puzzles that my dad used to enjoy. Hopefully, these items brought some light into the lives of at least one of the residents at the nursing home. We actually continue to celebrate Christmas with a smaller tabletop tree to honor his memory.

Going forward, I would like to continue to be thoughtful and give items that come from the heart, but not wait for something to occur before doing this. Personally, I don't like to make "resolutions" because this sets me up to not carry them out. Instead, I prefer to set goals. For 2012, my goals are to focus on the present and to live fearlessly! I think this would allow me to enjoy my life more fully!

This past year taught me a lot about who I am, and who I'm not. I'm learning to embrace myself as I am- as we all should: we are perfect as we are. We make features into flaws by labeling them as such. My intention is to support everyone I'm in contact with through loving acceptance, kindness and patience. By loving completely we can move closer to our true selves.

Have a beautiful year, all of you!

What keeps me grounded? I recently moved to this country from Russia so my dreams keeps me going. My mother passed away 10 years ago when i was just 18 so i realized very early the value of family support and the role each family member plays in my life. I am still deeply connected to the rest of my small family and it helps me to remember where i came from and gives me power to keep going in my life. I am trying to live my life right helping others and hoping to change the world for the better. I am in a very important transition period in my life right now as i need to start everything over again with my career. I will go with my passion to Beauty and hope to go to Beauty school this year. I realized that i like to make people feel beautiful inside and outside. I would like to learn how to let myself to enjoy my life more and gain more confidence in myself. I should splurge more often on myself... and hope this will be a good start. Thanks Josie for your kindness and positiv energy you bring every time i see you on TV! I really enjoy you as a person and your mission of bringing us natural products along with making a real positive difference in people`s lifes on another continent.

My family keeps me true to myself! I'm trying to be better with reducing my stress level or rather my reactions to stress. Quite a challange!

My 11 year old Keeshond Leo keeps me grounded and helps me live life for the moment. He has gotten me through numerous tough times even though my life hasn't been as long as others; only 24 years. I hope to work on eating healthier this year and getting to a healthy weight as well as landing my first job with my two college degrees.
